The new pipe monitoring report offers clearer water temperature reporting by allowing customers to configure water safety reports to only show water temperature results, reducing confusion and reducing time spent determining which pipes are outside of thresholds.
Remember: Only works for future reports after February 2023, is not backward capable.
Types of Pipe Monitoring Reports:
With the new pipe monitoring report you can choose to have a report focusing on just the water temperature, just the water flow or both. The previous report could not be configured in this way and always had both options as the only option.
The Water Movement Report
This report now has a column showing the number of water movement events during the report period.
For water movements reports - there is now a new tab in the report which provides a breakdown of each water movement events per outlet.
The Water Temperature Report
The water temperature report will now show the minimum and maximum temperatures and wether the temperature result was within the set thresholds.
How does this data help?
The new improvements mean that from the report you now can:
Configure your Water Safety reports to only show water movement events, helping identify which outlets need to be manually flushed.
Rank your pipes by number of water movement events in a report period, helping you identify which pipes are at most risk.
Provide a list of each water movement event for each outlet, allowing you to drill down and understand water usage in more detail to manage their risk better.
