Viewing and acknowledging alerts
When an alert is triggered, all recipients of the alert will receive an email or SMS (depending on set up) letting them know there is an alert. This message will include a link to the relevant sensor page in the Infogrid platform.
If you click through to this and log in, you'll be taken to the Alerts log of the sensor in question, and you'll see a list of all recent alerts. Where an alert is still unacknowledged, you'll see an acknowledge button at the bottom of it:
Clicking on this button will let you both acknowledge the alert and add some notes or commentary about what you've done to address it.
Once you acknowledge the alert, the Alerts log of the Sensor Details view will be updated to show that you've acknowledged it. The page will also show any notes you added.
View all sensors with unacknowledged alerts
If you're not an alert recipient, or you have received multiple alerts and are unsure what's already been dealt with, you can also see all sensors with unacknowledged alerts in the sensor list view.
Log into Infogrid's platform, and click on the "Sensors" icon on the left hand menu to access the sensor list.
Click on the heading of the "Alerts" column (far right) to sort by the Alerts field. This will order all sensors by the number of unacknowledged alerts, showing the most at the top and sensors with no unacknowledged alerts at the bottom.
You can then click into any sensors you're interested in by clicking on their name, and once there you can also acknowledge any alerts by clicking into the Alerts log.
Any time you're in this Sensor Details view, you'll be able to see the number of unacknowledged alerts in red to the right of the "Events log" tab.
