Found within the Infogrid Building Intelligence Platform, the Building View provides a complete picture on what is happening right now within a floor or building.

It provides an easier way to see the status of sensors (offline/online, solution state such as occupied, unacknowledged alerts etc.).

This helps you easily see unacknowledged alerts, contextualise visually where in the building/floor sensors are installed and easily switch between different buildings/floors you manage.

Accessing Building View

The Building View can be accessed via the left hand navigation bar found within the Infogrid Building Intelligence platform. There are five key screens (Tip: click the page title to learn more about this page):

Provides a list of all buildings associated with your account, including a high level summary of building information.

Displays all floors in the building with a floor plan of each.

A list of all floors in the building including the number of sensors and active alerts associated to that floor.

See unacknowledged alerts for each sensor, for a whole floor or an entire building

See an overview of a specific Infogrid Solution. (currently Occupancy supported at launch)

All Buildings List

This page provides a list of all buildings where Infogrid solutions are deployed across your estate (or estates if you are managing more than one on behalf of multiple customers).

Details for each building are displayed, including:

  • Name of the building

  • Building type

  • Building Address

  • Building Country

  • Number of floors in the building

  • Spaces

  • Hubs

  • Sensors

  • Alerts

You can now select which building you would like to view in more detail.

Map View

This view provides a summary of sensors placed on an individual floor and their specific location

  • Left hand navigation - Floor list - Easily switch between floors using the left hand side navigation bar, the number of sensors and alerts related to that floor are also displayed

Right hand navigation - Sensor list - Provides a list of all sensors on that floor, sorted by the space that they are allocated to. Sensors that are associated with the floor but not with a specific location are considered “unmapped” and shown under the un-mapped sensor list. A short cut is included at the top of the bar to easily resolve unmapped sensors and allocate them to the location they are deployed in.

Icon Key

Each icon on the map shows the type of sensor, its status and if there are alerts on that sensor. There is an icon help button in the bottom right of the screen to view more details.

This can be used to easily identify any offline sensor or sensors that currently have an active alert attached to them. Reminder: Alerts can be created and managed using the alerts menu found via the left hand side platform navigation bar

Filtering

You are able to easily see sensors deployed by type e.g see those measuring desk occupancy vs temperature vs air quality via the “Filter by:” option found on the top right hand side of the building map view:

Switching between map and list view

After clicking into an individual building you will access the Building page for that specific building. Here you have two options on how you can see the data - Map or List view. This is done using the toggle at the top right hand side of the screen:

List View

This List View provides a full list of all sensors within that building. You can easily switch between floors using the left hand navigation bar. The number of spaces, hubs, sensors and alerts associated with each floor are also shown.

Easy to navigate reminders of unmapped or unassigned sensors can easily be seen at the top of the view:

All sensors are displayed by space they are assigned to. With key details displayed within the list view such as sensor type, active alerts, name, latest reading, battery level and signal. Sensors deployed can also be easily filtered by grouping to easily see all sensors of that type by clicking “filter by” found next to the map/list view toggle:

Sensor Alert List

Within the Building View you can easily identify alerts associated with sensors deployed within a building/floor.

To access details on the active alert, a red dot will appear on the sensor icon indicating that there is an alert associated with that sensor. Clicking on this icon will show the sensor details on the right hand side navigation with the option to click into display further details:

Alerts can be filtered to show different details of the alerts:

Solutions Lens

To view only sensors associated with a specific Infogrid solution you can toggle to a solution lens. This can be done using the “Overview” drop down found at the top left hand side of either the “map” or “list” view. For launch only Occupancy is supported, this lens only shows the sensors specific to desk occupancy.

Only sensors related to desk occupancy are viewable within this lens. All hubs are hidden but can be viewed via the Map or List view. Using the Solutions lens for occupancy you can easily see which desks are in use, occupied or have offline sensors:

Desk Occupancy Icon Key

Occupied desk

Desk not occupied

Desk sensor offline (sensor will show its last known state with a line through)

Smart Cleaning Solution Lens

To view only sensors associated with the Smart Cleaning solution you can toggle to the Smart Cleaning solution lens. This can be done using the “Overview” drop down found at the top left hand side.

Only sensors related to smart cleaning are viewable within this lens. All hubs are hidden but can be viewed via the Map or List view. Using the Solutions lens for smart cleaning you can easily see which desks, rooms, spaces, or floors within a building require cleaning. The threshold for when cleaning is required is set in your smart cleaning settings.

Smart Cleaning Icon Key

By clicking on the "Icon Key" button in the bottom left hand corner you can see the meanings of any coloured icon visible in both the map and list views:
