1. On the left-hand navigation, scroll until you reach 'Properties'

2. Select the dropdown arrow

3. Select the "Alerts" tab in the Navigation Bar.

4. Here you will see a list of all the alerts already set up for your building. To make a new alert, click on the 'Add Alert' button.

5. Select "Continue".

6. Enter a name and description for your alert.

7. Enter the "Conditions" for your alert**. These include:

  • Alert on - What you are measuring for the alert. You can alert based off of -
    *Building - Whole building consumption
    * Source - A specific source
    * Meter - An individual meter
    * Tenant - A specific tenant’s consumption according to your building’s Tenant Billing configuration

**You cannot alert on any building, source, meter or tenant that is comprised of one or more interval-only meters.

  • Unit - How are you measuring the alert. You can alert on:
    * Electricity (kW)
    * Gas (CCF)
    * Water (GPM)
    * Steam (MLB/Hour)

  • Time Frame. You can set an alert to be active for:
    * Anytime
    * Schedule - A specific calendar and category in your property's schedule.
    * Custom - Any set of dates, hours, or days of the week that you select.

Set your "Whenever" values, which are the values that will cause your alert to fire. You can select either:

  • A percent away from average.

  • A specific value

  • A value outside of your Predicted Energy Curve

  • Don't forget to check out the alert preview to add more context about when your alert will trigger. The red shading shows whenever the alert will go off, if consumption occurs during that section, that means the alert would have sent you a notification.

9. Set how you would like to be alerted by selecting the check box for Email or Text alerts. Select who you would like to receive the alert you just created by typing their name.

As a reminder, if you want to receive any text alerts, you have to add your phone number to your Aquicore user profile, which can be done in User Settings.

10. Select "Save", and your new alert will open.

To modify an existing alert, follow these steps:

1. Select the alert you would like to modify

2. Edit any of the fields below

3. When changing "goes below" and "goes above," change the number(s) and click outside to see the graph update

Select "Save" (top right) to confirm that your alert changes have been saved.
