  1. Navigate to Alerts under the Properties drop-down. You may need to scroll down the navigation bar.

2) Select your building at the top left.

3) Here you will see a list of all the alerts already set up for your building. To make a new alert, select the three vertical dots in the top right which will prompt a selection box. Choose "Add alert".

4) In the field, you have the option to select "Usage Based" for rate detection or "Fault Based" for consumption detection. Select "Fault Based."

5) Input a name and description for the alert. The example below is for water.

6) Since this is a level-based alert, this is where you define your levels.

7) Type in the names of those who should be on the alert. The names should auto-populate as you start to type them.

8) This will take you back to the alert page where you want to select "Add Level" to open the drop-down fields.

9) Fill out the fields at your discretion. In most examples, the selection will be "Current Building" and the utility of your choice. In the example below, the selection is gallons since we are looking for a consumption threshold (similar to kWh as opposed to kW or GPM which are rate-based and are typically better suited as Usage-based alerts. Additionally, in most cases, you will only need one level. Selecting a Warning level as shown below and the threshold you want to be alerted on will be sufficient. You can also add the level name and a description. See example. Ensure you save when scrolling back up to the top right.

10) Lastly if you come back in to adjust the threshold, follow the same steps to navigate to the alert and click on the alert in question. You will see the alert level. In this case "Level 1 - High Use" Click on the down area to the right of the Level detail to see the drop-down where you can readjust your threshold if desired. Don't forget to save after any changes are made!
