When using a probe to test the water temperature and then running a Pipe Monitoring report immediately after that, your report is more than likely going to fail. The reason for this is that there is a 2 hour delay based on where the data for Pipe Monitoring reports is stored.

The service used for Pipe Monitoring report data differs from the service used for General Sensor Event report data. This is why when using a probe it's important to factor in the 2 hour delay before generating a report so that the system has time to update and can reflect the updated readings.

If the 2 hour delay has been considered but sensors are still failing on the report, but are reaching the thresholds on the probe, then there may be other issues like Pipe Monitoring offsets being incorrect or the sensors being faulty.
