A Cloud Connector (CCON) is the device that collects data from all Disruptive Technologies (DT) sensors and sends data to the cloud, so it can be viewed in the platform.
The new Gen 2 Cloud Connector (Gen 2 CCON) features a built-in SIM card with a cellular roaming agreement. It automatically connects to the strongest cellular network with long wireless range between sensors and Cloud Connector. It requires no setup or configuration, supports up to 10,000 sensors and has automatic software updates.
You will need a Cloud Connector installed before you are able to configure and install any Disruptive Technologies sensors.

To configure the device in the platform, click here.
The QR code needed to identify the device is on the back of the Cloud Connector. If identifying the Cloud Connector manually (via touch), it will need to be plugged in and online. Also make sure you have removed the plastic film on the front of the Cloud Connector for the touches to register.
Cloud Connector Install
Use the provided power supply to power the Cloud Connector at your chosen installation site.
If the device has a cellular modem, it will automatically start connecting to the cloud service. If not, plug in an ethernet cable to establish a connection.
Check the Cloud Connector is online by looking for a solid white light on the status indicator.
If you see a pulsing white light on the indicator that means the device is connecting/ updating, this can take a few minutes.
