Understanding occupancy relative to capacity is important when managing space utilisation. With this features you are able to set capacity thresholds at a building, floor, and space level. Helping you to understand what % of total capacity is typically used which can help with decisions on the number and size of meeting rooms needed, desk capacity planning and understanding how often a space reaches its full capacity.
Capacity is set in the Estate Management section of the Infogrid Platform.
Note: currently, reporting and visualisations are only available for space capacity. Building and Floor capacity reporting will be available at a later date, and we will be in touch to update on you on this.
Setting your building capacity
To start, enter the settings menu from the left hand navigation menu:
Next enter the Manage Estate page by clicking the button:
From this page, you are able to edit the settings of any of the buildings within your estate. To create or edit your building, floor, or space capacity, start by clicking "edit" next to the relevant building:

Within the "edit building" screen you can add or edit your building capacity by entering your maximum capacity into the "Capacity" field below your building address:
Setting your floor capacity
From the Estate Management page within settings, start by clicking the name of the building that the floor is located within:
Next, select to edit your floor, and choose "edit":
From the pop up window, enter your maximum capacity for this floor, and select "save":
Setting your space capacity
Once you have selected your building from the Manage Estate page, start by clicking to edit a space:
From the Edit Space pop up, enter your maximum capacity into the capacity field below your space name and space type:
Note: only users with manager permissions are able to access the estate management page. If you are unable to access the estate management section and require access please reach out to a user with manager permissions. More information about assigning user permissions can be found here.
