To install your devices you need to follow a process called the “Installation Flow.” This is where you physically install the device while also configuring the device in the platform (i.e. move a sensor to a folder location, name the sensor etc.)

Remember: Some countries have specific regulations around access to the Distribution Boards and Electricity Meters. Please review your local regulations before attempting an installation.

The building and floor (and room/area) you want to install the device

Go to the Sensors page in the platform

 A pop up will appear that will ask you to Identify the device by scanning the QR code as seen below:

Click on 'Manually identify devices' and select "Monnit CT Clamp" or "Fludia LED Pulse meter" from the available options.

Enter the Sensor ID found on the side of the device as seen in the image below.

1. Go to the Sensors page in the platform
2. Click Start Installation
 
 
 
3. A pop up will appear that will ask you to Identify the device by scanning the QR code as seen below:

4. Click on 'Manually identify devices' and select "Monnit CT Clamp" or "Fludia LED Pulse meter" from the available options.
 
 
 
5. Enter the Sensor ID found on the side of the device as seen in the image below.

Configure the device by completing this section. 

Remember: Contact your nominated deployment specialist if the locations you need are not in the drop-down lists.

1. Building name
 1. Select the building you are installing the device in
 2. Once you have installed your first device this will be pre-populated with the building that you last installed the device in
 3. Make sure you change this when you move to a different building to install a device
 
2. Floor name
 1. Select the floor you are installing the device on
 2. Once you have installed your first device this will be pre-populated with the floor that you last installed the device in
 3. Make sure you change this when you move to a different floor to install a device
 
3. Space 
 1. Select 'No Space'
 
4. Device name
 1. Type the name of the device, following the company's naming convention
 2. This is where you will need to name the device so that it can be located by an engineer responding to alerts
 
5. Add label
 1. Add labels to the device following company guidance
 2. The company should have created a list of labels prior to you installing devices, and specified how they would like you to use these
 
 
 
6. Once complete, click save.

Finally, enter details of the monitoring location. This is so that we know which area of the building this meter is supplying electricity for, as well as the end-uses (building services)

Click ‘save’ again to complete installation

 You will then see a message saying that the device is connected.

Repeat the process from the beginning if there are more sensors in the building that require installation.
