Use the Energy Consumption by Portfolio widget to create different collections of buildings to analyze consumption over a specific period.

Widget Setup

On the dashboard where you want to add a new Energy Consumption by Portfolio widget, click Add Widget and select Energy Consumption by Portfolio in the pop-up.

Select a type of energy to monitor from the available list.

In the Select Portfolios step, you will be able to create the group of buildings you want and name them as needed.

Note: You have 3 options to select buildings:

  • Click on the company to automatically select all the portfolios attached to it;

  • Click on the portfolio to select all the buildings attached to it;

  • Select the buildings you want individually. If you want to select buildings individually, select the down arrow on both the Company and Portfolio levels to expand the sections without selecting all.

To establish another portfolio for analysis in a widget, select ADD PORTFOLIO.

When selecting buildings for Portfolio 2, the buildings selected for Portfolio 1 will appear in grey and you will not be able to select them again.

Once you have selected your portfolios, move onto the next step to select the energy type, time range and interval.

Adjust the title as needed to reflect the details you've built into your widget. Select “Show settings as subtitle” to display the building names on the widget.

After you select Finish, the widget will appear on your dashboard.

Widget Usage & Best Practices

On the Energy Consumption by Portfolio widget, you can toggle between the bar and the line chart for your desired view using the button in the top right.

Hover over the chart to view the values. The vertical dotted line will help you situate the date more easily.
