Use the Peak Electrical Demand widget to analyze the electrical demand from a specific period.
Widget Setup
On the dashboard where you want to add a new Peak Electrical Demand widget, click Add Widget and select Peak Electrical Demand in the pop-up.
Select the building or group of buildings you want to monitor.
Once you have selected your buildings, move onto the next step to select the time range and interval.
You now have the option to setup a comparison to previous month, year or portfolio average.
You can also normalize by area (in square footage) or by degree days to eliminate any skews in your data set.
Adjust the title as needed to reflect the details you've built into your widget. Select "Show settings as subtitle" to display the building name on the widget.
After you select Finish, the widget will appear on your dashboard.
Widget Usage & Best Practices
On your Peak Electrical Demand widget, hover over the chart to view the values. The vertical dotted line will help you situate the date more easily.
If you have selected the comparison option, you can toggle between the actual data and the delta to see the differences immediately.
When no comparison has been selected, you can toggle between the bar and the line chart view.

Note: You can add multiple widgets of the same type to any dashboard and name and rename as desired. You can create one Peak Electrical Demand widget that explores electricity consumption at a single building this quarter compared to last quarter and a different Peak Electrical Demand widget that explores all of last year to the year prior.
