When you’re looking at a building’s energy consumption, one of the first questions that comes to mind is how you can find your building's peak demand. Luckily, no matter what period you’re looking at, Aquicore's Load Analytics page calculates that for you! Here’s how to find your Peak kW, also known as demand.
1. Navigate to Load Analytics
2. Select the building you are interested in learning the peak for.
3. Select the time-period where you want to know the peak consumption.
4. Look to the right at the 'Energy Stats,' below the Peak kW, you can see the date and time in which you hit your peak demand.
5. Many times the peak in usage can be explained simply by a change in weather. To verify if this is the cause you can enable the Weather layer.
