How to verify the power on Vergesense sensors and gateways?

To verify power on a VergeSense gateway:

  1. Confirm gateway PoE injector is plugged into an outlet. The PoE injector should have a visible BLUE light.

  2. Verify Power icon has a visible green light

To verify power on a wired PoE sensor:

  1. Visually verify if the sensor has a solid red light on the side

  2. Visually verify port powering sensor has visible LED lights.

  3. If a sensor has a rapid blinking red light, please replace the sensor with a new one.

To verify power on a wireless battery sensor:

  1. Turn the sensor OFF

  2. Wait 30 seconds

  3. Turn the sensor ON

  4. Visually identify a fast-blinking red light

  5. If the red light DOES NOT blink, check the battery status. Also, make sure batteries and mount plate are securely fastened.
