Aquicore identifies operational anomalies through Utility Notes, Alerts, and Projects. Now, we’ve streamlined the process of creating Projects from these valuable insights. We’ve increased the visibility and “actionability” of potential Projects, engaging building teams and ESG Leaders with beneficial opportunities to improve building performance and make progress towards corporate ESG goals.
Watch this video for an overview of the expanded functionality of Utility Notes!
Utility Notes Leaderboard
Both the Portfolio and Building Overview Pages now have a Utility Note Leaderboard that provides a consolidated summary of Utility Notes by building. Filters offer the flexibility to focus on Utility Notes by “Status”, “Created” Date, or “Last Updated” Date.
Click on a Utility Note from the Utility Note Leaderboard to drill into the details. A Utility Note preview will present the details of the Note, the snapshot of Load Analytics from when the Note was created, comments, and a link to view the Note in Load Analytics to dig deeper and add additional overlays like weather, prior week trends, or building schedule.
Create a Project from Utility Notes
Utility Notes that need further investigation and tracking can be converted to Projects. Change the status to 'Closed - Potential Impact' and you will be prompted to Create a new Project, link an existing Project, or track impact later. If you select 'Create Project' a Project will auto-populate with all of the basic details of the issue, linking the Note and Project together. Be sure to fill out the Project with any additional context on what needs to be done to resolve it.
Utility Notes Status Definitions
Open - Needs Response: This Note is Open, and awaiting a response from a user to acknowledge they've seen it and let their team or Aquicore BSE know whether it is expected operations (e.g. a Tenant Request) or a fault that needs to be resolved.
Open - Investigating: This Note is Open and has been acknowledged by a user and they need to conduct further investigation before determining if it should be turned into a Project or not
Closed - No Further Action: This Note is Closed, and the user doesn't expect any Impact from resolving it, or there is nothing to resolve. Occasionally, Utility Notes will start here, especially when a user is documenting an event (e.g. this was a tenant request).
Closed - Potential Savings: This Note is Closed, and the user is expecting to see an impact by resolving the identified issue. There should be a linked project, but there may or may not be one
