Creating and sharing a Utility Note is a great way to communicate consumption information about your building. Follow these 5 simple steps to create and share a Utility Note.

1. Use the left-hand navigation and scroll to the 'INVESTIGATE' section. Click 'Load Analytics'.

2. Select the portion of the chart you wish to comment on. Highlight the area by clicking and dragging. Then you can add the Title, Status*, and Note fields, then click ADD NOTE to create the Utility Note.

*Status is a required field, you'll need to choose one of the following:

Open - Needs Response: when you are sending a note to someone, asking a question, and waiting to hear back.

Open - Investigating: when someone is actively figuring out what happened with the usage at that specified time.

Closed - No Further Action: when you are simply taking a note and no investigation/action is necessary. Or select this status once an investigation is complete and there is nothing further to be done.

Closed - Potential Savings: when you have found an opportunity to change an operation/behavior to improve energy consumption and would like to begin a project to track this opportunity.

3. At the top right of the Load Analytics page, select the list button to open the Utility Note panel. Select your Utility Note and click the field below "Share". Begin typing the '@' symbol followed by the recipient’s name.
