Infogrid’s platform supports a wide variety of web browsers for both desktop and mobile devices, whichever browser you do use, make sure it's up-to-date!
Desktop
When using laptop/desktop computers, either Apple or Windows, the following browsers support the Infogrid platform:
Google Chrome - The popular and trusted web browser by Google.
Mozilla Firefox - Free and open-source web browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation.
Safari - Default web browser for macOS, developed by Apple.
Microsoft Edge - Web browser developed by Microsoft. Supported version 17 or newer.
Remember: Infogrid’s platform does not work with Internet Explorer as it does not contain modern web technologies. A modern replacement for it is Microsoft Edge.
Mobile & Tablet
For mobiles and tablets, Infogrid supports Android or iOS devices with a minimum of 2GB RAM, the supported web browsers are mentioned below, mobiles currently have a limited experience.
Android
On mobile and tablet devices using Android, our preferred browser is Chrome
If you are using Android 11 and you need to scan QR codes during device installation then you will need to use Firefox.
iOS
On mobile and tablet devices operating on iOS, our preferred browser is Google Chrome.
Safari and Firefox browsers can also be used, and we have found no issues yet with either browser when scanning QR codes. Please let us know if you do!
