This month, we're excited to introduce Project Assist, a new AI-assisted workflow designed to help your team cut through stale project backlogs and focus on the issues that are actively impacting your buildings.
Why It Matters
Energy efficiency projects can accumulate over time. As building conditions evolve, older projects may no longer reflect what's happening in a facility today.
Project Assist solves that problem by automatically reviewing recent historical building data against your existing projects and determining whether the underlying issue is still actively present. The result is a clear, data-driven signal on each project so your team can prioritize with confidence.
What You'll See in the Platform
Projects now display a Project State badge, a new background signal derived from the AI's review of your building data. This is separate from and does not replace the existing Project Status field.
Here's how you can interact with the Project State in Noda
Active/Inactive Badges — Visible in project tables so you can spot relevant issues at a glance
Validation Date — Hover over any badge to see exactly when the AI last reviewed the data
State Explanation — Open Project Details to read a plain-language summary of why a project is flagged Active or Inactive
Project Assist Charts — Supporting charts are automatically generated on relevant projects and labeled with the suffix "Project Assist" in the title
