Widget Usage & Best Practices

Use Case #1: Centralize Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

Having all your FCUs in one dashboard offers centralized control, improved energy efficiency, and streamlined maintenance. Instead of manually navigating through all the building's equipment to check the status of your FCU, you can simply create a new My Favorite Equipment widget.

Start by selecting your building and then choosing "Fan Coil Unit" as the equipment type.

Once selected, you will see a list of all the available FCUs for your building. Choose the ones you want to track and they will appear on your widget.

To add more FCUs, click on "Add equipment". If you manage a portfolio of buildings, you can also include FCUs from other buildings as long as they are properly set up.

With the new widget, you can now easily view any work requests or insights associated with the FCUs at a glance.

If you click on a specific equipment, a left pane will appear, allowing you to effortlessly adjust the occupancy status, zone temperature, heating demand, and fan settings.

Use Case #2: Group Faulty Equipment

Stay informed about your faulty equipment and begin your day by verifying that the required actions have been taken or plan your day accordingly.

Simply add your faulty equipment directly to the widget or from an insight.

Once you’ve fixed the faulty equipment and want to remove the equipment from the widget, click on the 3 dots next to the equipment and then Remove from Favorite:

You can also do it by clicking on the equipment, then on the ‘+’ and Remove from Favorite:

Use Case #3: Organize critical equipment

Efficiently manage and stay on top of your key equipment with ease, ensuring that the necessary actions are promptly taken. By creating a dedicated widget, you can easily monitor and track the status of your important equipment. Additionally, you have the option to create a widget that groups together the equipment of a dedicated room.

Start your day by reviewing the widget, allowing you to quickly identify any ongoing issues or pending actions related to your favorite equipment or to ensure the proper functioning of key spaces, guaranteeing safety and comfort. This proactive approach empowers you to prioritize and efficiently address the necessary tasks, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing potential disruptions.
