Equipment relationships and sub-equipment are visualized in the equipment slide-out. From the same view as your real-time and change of value data, you will see a comprehensive list of the equipment that is related to the equipment you’re viewing, with hyperlinks for deeper dives into related equipment.

The relationships go both ways. For example, if you’re on a VAV slide-out, the Relationships tab will show Flows In with the air handler that serves that VAV and a link.

In reverse, the DOAS will Flows Out relationships to all of the VAVs it serves.

This additional layer of navigation enhances your troubleshooting by enabling you to follow the flows to the root cause of an issue.

For central plants, we’ve moved the System tab from the right-hand sub-navigation to within the main view under the widgets. Similar to Relationships, this sub-equipment section allows you to see all of the equipment contained within the plant to drill down into each equipment as needed for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Clicking into the sub-equipment within the plant view will also open a slide-out with Relationships visualized.

Relationships and sub-equipment are defined during the data modeling process in the onboarding phase. Once defined in the data model, they are loaded into the Connect API for visualization in Noda. If you believe there are missing equipment relationships that should be visualized in your Noda system, please reach out to Noda Support.
