Your CSM will share this with you in word doc form, but if you're curious, these are the details you'll need to set up your LaunchPad. You will set the IP address directly through the gateway and the steps you follow will be determined by how you answer these questions.

To ensure a smooth deployment, it is critical that the LaunchPad will have outbound internet access on ports 443 (HTTPS) and 465 (SNMP).

1) Does your OT/BMS network have outbound internet access? If “Yes”, then your LaunchPad will be connected to only the OT/BMS network. Please provide an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server for the OT/BMS Network Port (or specify DHCP):

Available IP address: Example - 192.168.0.99

Subnet mask: Example - 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: Example - 192.168.0.1

DNS Server: Example - 192.168.0.1

2) If you answered “No” above, then LaunchPad will require Dual Network Configuration. Please provide an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server for the Internet Access Port and for the OT/BMS Network Port (or specify DHCP):

3) Does your OT/BMS network have a firewall in place? If “Yes”, please confirm that your firewall will have rules in place to allow LaunchPad (or it’s host machine if deployed virtually) outbound internet access on both ports 443 and 465. If you are unsure, please check with your IT resource or immediately reach out to your Noda contact so we can advise on how best to confirm this connectivity.
