Here is a quick tutorial on how Aquicore calculates blended rates!

1. Grab a recent utility bill for your building. You will need to get several pieces of information from the bill to calculate it.

2. Find the total kWh your building consumed for the billing period.
Example: 200,000 kWh

3. Find the total charges (in dollars) for the billing period. (Don't include late fees in this total.)
Example: $22,000

4. To calculate your building's blended rate, divide the Charges by the Consumption.
Example: $22,000 / 200,000 kWh = A blended rate of $0.11 per kWh

If Aquicore does not have any utility bills to calculate the blended rate, a default rate of $0.12 per kWh is used.
